Busy Times

Filed under: My family — Lady Dobry @ 7:28 pm

I just graduated from the College of Pharmacy, the University of Toledo a few weeks ago with my BSP, which is the last year someone can graduate with the 5 year degree. While I was earning this degree I also got earned 2 other degrees, the BSPS in pharmaceutical administration and my MBA. I earned minors in Chemistry and Business. I am finally done, waiting and studying so I can take the state boards so I can become a licensed pharmacist. I am working alot now…
What else is new… I am heading to Bermuda at the end of the week. I will miss Madhujit but this will be a welcomed vacation. When I get back, I get to see my friends Marta and David… I cannot wait- It has been a long time since we last saw each other.
Then I get to go to the board review and then the next weekend, polka all night long… St. Adalbert’s Polish Festival is Friday, June 11th, Saturday June 12th, and Sunday June 13th… I hope to see everyone there — it should be a great time. St. Adalberts is located in the polish village on Lagrange at the intersection of Oakland. You cannot miss it…
Jessy my cousin went to prom a few weekends back and she looked beautiful… you can check out the pictures in the gallery.
Justin is going to the Netherlands for the summer for a co-op… it should be a great opportunity for him and will also let him realize how great he has it… Matt is going to spend the summer in new york city working with a dermatologist.
Madhujit is still looking for a job… I highly recommend him if you have a job opening and can offer him a green card.
My mom and John are celebrating their 1 year anniversary tomorrow.
My busia is spending time planting flowers and always is around moving plants to different places.
Daisy is doing ok… she is slowly learning… she is not that big and I hope she will stay that size.
Well I think that covers everyone. Hopefully I will have time to write pharmacy related stuff… If anyone has any questions or has a topic they would like me to cover, please let me know.

Happy Easter

Filed under: My family — Lady Dobry @ 11:24 am

Well.Happy Easter to all… For many today, we are celebrating Jesus Christ triumphing from the dead.. I went to church today at St. Adalbert’s Parish, in toledo Oh. This was in the area were I grew up. The church was decorated with beautiful pink and blue flowers and lots of lillies. The mass was nice. Fr. Marek commented on the Passion of the Christ, the movie that Mel Gibson directed. I did not see this movie yet, but Fr. Marek wanted to pass along the message that Christ willingly suffered the injustice for our benefit.
The family is coming over for Easter brunch here. We no longer have little ones about to have an easter egg hunt, but spending time with family is fun, if not exhausting ( With Matt and Justin here and throw Katie into the bunch– what a headache).
Madhujit’s parents will be here tomorrow night… and they will stay for a while. We have been looking forward to their visit…
My brother Matt is one of the most spoiled kid I know. He had the nerve to tell my mother he should be driving a BMW like everyone else…. let me expand on this comment. Matt is driving my mother’s old car, a 1997 Ford Contour. He has a leak in the air condition system and does not have air condition. Bob, a mechanic, said it will take a long time for him to fix, so Matt wanted to take my mom’s new honda and make my mom drive the old car. My mom said no. Then he had the nerve to tell me I should switch him. The answer here was HELL NO. I work hard to make my car payments. Finally, matt bugs busia. At first Busia said no, but the brat Matt would not leave busia alone until she said yes. During this session of being obnoxious, Matt told my mom she should get him a BMW like everyone else in med school and that if anyone in the family was a doctor, he would be driving one. Matt has bigger opinions of himself then he really should. He acts like a know-it-all ass just because he is finishing up the first year of med school… one day he will be put in his place….
We watched Brother Bear, the Disney movie, yesterday. It had a semi-interesting plot, but Disney is just running out of fairy tales to write about. It had some powerful messages about love and seeing beneath the surface and it was mushy at the end.
Additionally saw cheaper by the dozen the night before last. This was also quite amuzing and was decently done. It was touching that it built up family is the most important thing, but who in their right minds would ever want 12 kids???

Midweek and almost through….

Filed under: My family — Lady Dobry @ 2:11 pm

The day is half way over right now… I have to go Rite Aid tonight and I don’t feel like it– I am too tired to go, but I will. Madhujit is back from his trip. As long as they are going to offer a decent salary, I think we may be moving to new jersey. This comes with mixed feelings for me. I know that I have to leave Toledo, but I was hoping it would not be so soon. As well as all of my family is in this general area…lolol… I told Madhujit if we were to move, he would have to get his pilot’s license and buy a plane so we can come to Toledo for a few weekends… I have phobias about bigger cities also. I like midsized cities like Toledo… anyways, I will focus more on that if we were to move.
Madhujit came back with a cold and I am wondering if I am experiencing the first signs of it… my head has been aching and my ears feel strange… oh well…
It is to be a nice weekend ( so predicts the weather people who are normally only 30% correct) but anyways, I hope to bathe Daisy and also take her for a few walks inbetween doing some homework.
I went around with a nutrition person today… and I got a chance to look at the menus at St. Charles… did you know that they have Spaghettios on the menu? I really never liked them and had some pretty bad childhood memories regarding these.
Daisy is doing better… though she is still not house broken. I wish she could pick it up faster because she is fustrating my busia but she is getting somewhat better.
