Here in Toledo – it has been unbearably hot – which is probably the case for the majority of midwest … but then we get these crazy thunder storms. I did not have to go to work until 2 today so I was going to get up and moving — then around 11:30 it started to storm.. there is something about storms that make me lazy – I did not want to do anything so I sat down and read a book! ( until I had to go to work that is)
This weekend is the 4th of July and last weekend we celebrated John’s Madhujit’s and Jessica’s birthday and our house warming … this weekend we just want to chill and have a relaxful weekend. Maybe we will have a cook out this weekend – who knows…

Sometimes people scare me
so friday morning someone comes to the drive through and wants to pick up a prescription they dropped off. Well we could not find it anywhere. I asked 3 to 4 times are you sure that don’t have another name or would it be hyphenated — no each time… so I tell her to come back when the other pharmacist is here that was here the day they dropped off the script… after they deal with her for another hour, it turns out her name was hyphenated and we had it ready. So – if she just gave us the correct name or thought to herself “yes my name is hyphenated” or “I just got married, maybe it would be under a different name…” we would not have to had spent 2 hours looking for the prescription…
Another person was in a hurry to drop off prescriptions and came up to us and gave them to us, “Yes, he has been here before and his birthday is written on the script, he will be back later to pick them up..” so she takes off and when we look at the script there is no name on the script… geeze… did they think that this would be done right away when they came back… yes they did… stupid people… I am done complaining now…

cedar point – as you get older it changes
Yesterday I went to Cedar Point with Felicity, her brother Joel and Jessica and Samantha. It was not that nice of a day, with it starting off with rain… changing to a regular colder day… but I remember a time where I could go to Cedar Point when they open and stay until they close… but now after 5 pm I felt winded and tired… we did leave by 7pm. The lines for the newer, bigger rides were long with about an hour and a half for the rapture to 3 to 4 hours for the dragster… needless to say we did not wait for any of those. We rode the “weaker” roller coasters and some of the other little rides. I still consider the Blue Streak my favorite ride in the park… for a few reasons… It was the first roller coaster I tried and it gives the impression that you are not secured in the seat ( even with the new restraint systems in place!) But I must say I felt the roller coasters this morning – I woke up all creaky feeling… but it was worth it.. their is nothing quite like the experience of going fast speeds in the first seat of a roller coaster looking down the first steep hill…. and the wonderful feeling of your stomach going up to your throat… Madhujit does not understand how that sensation ends up to be a fun feeling!

BD Mongolian BBQ imitation, Foof Bags and More
it is friday morning and the day is going well at work ( knocking on wood). Not much is new with Madhujit or with me… I bought a huge 6 foot bean bag chair and at first Madhujit was not too sure if it was a good thing, but now he enjoys sitting in the chair. The only bad thing is that to get up, you have to roll out. It is called a foof bag and it is decently priced in the market of over-sized bean bag chairs.
Tomorrow I am going to Cedar Point… I am looking forward to it. I have not been to Cedar Point in a while ( 2 to 3 years) and I love roller coaters.
Humm… we went to an imitation Mongolian BBQ here in the Toledo area. It is in the new Levis Commons in Perrysburg… called the Blue Pacific or something along those lines. It was an ok alternative to BD’s except for BD’s have better spice and sauce options but when I do not feel like driving for over an hour to get BD’s – it will do in a pinch. They were priced moderately well at 11.99 for all you can eat or 8.99 for 1 bowl. They are also lacking the soup and salad bar that BD’s has. The service is not great unfortunately– it is a small place and still new so they have the wait staff over-taxed.
Levis Commons is not taking off like I would imagine the thinkers of the project hoped. We went on a Tuesday night around 8 pm and the whole area besides MAx and Ermas was dead. They need better stores to attract people to shop there ( though they do have Bombay Company if you are looking for cool accessories for the home)….

1 week
Tomorrow morning will be the official week of madhujit living at the new place. It has been nice because I have a 2 minute drive instead of 15-20minutes, which makes it a lot easier to take Daisy over to our house before work. My “Zen” room has been created nicely and more cheaper then I expected (LOL – Madhujit would disagree and say I spent way too much money in this room…. eventually once everything is done, we will take pictures of the room and post them. Not much was misplaced in the move, which is good… but madhujit is missing his work shoes and Mukul is missing a tub of cereal but otherwise everything else is working out fine.
Busia’s boyfriend came over today- it was so cute, he showed up out of the blue to sit for a drink of lemonade with Busia (Busia also claims he is not her boyfriend but we enjoy teasing busia)
My mom has been on me this week that I am coming home so late ( 12:30ish ) which is so funny because I am an adult with a full time job, I am engaged and have another house ( I just sleep at my momma’s) and my youngest brother stays out to god-awful late hours and she never says anything to him… go figure.
