Betta fish are pretty stupid fish. This is the 2nd time this week that I am not too sure if my betta is going to make it. It is also the 3rd time this month. The betta somehow managed to get its fins stuck in my filter the first time and it survived. I cover the filter with this pillow stuffing like filter material and it still manages to get stuck. I release it again. I turn off this filter and it swam on the bottom of the tank for a few days but it was fine for about 4 days. I come home tonight and somehow it gets stuck in the plastic plant on the bottom. How I cannot tell you. I release it again and it is living on the bottom. We will see if it will make it this time. I swear it has a death wish or something.

WOW– Voting Day 2004
I arrived at the polls at 6:15, a pitch black morning with a light misting– the polls opened at 6:30am — the line at 6:15 was already 25 people deep. As we waited for the time to pass, the line behind us grew to phenomenal proportions for 6:30 in the morning. There were atleast 60 to 80 people waiting ( could not do an exact count, as the line grew into the intersecting hallway. I must say, I felt very harassed these last few days before the election, with different parties calling every 5 minutes – No exaggeration- I timed it yesterday for the heck of it– but their efforts they paid off. The last election was not as crazy as this one.
Well those are my obervations – it is going to be one crazy election!
