Trailing Thoughts

I got back from work, Daisy is doing fine. She spent the day with Busia. Let me tell you about Daisy, well I picked her up at adoption days at Super Petz– the organization Planned Pethood saved her from being gassed. If you are looking to adopt, check out the dogs that are available at http://plannedpethood.org . They try very hard to make sure that their dogs and cats are healthy. Daisy was very subdued yesterday– she would not eat anything, nor would she play/ be active for longer periods than 2 minutes and she would flop and sleep. Plus, she did not like the cage to sleep in, so we lined my bedroom with newspaper and put down a pillow for her to sleep on. I woke up during various times during the night to let her out and she was ok. Anyways, this morning she had normal puppy energy and she is doing well.. Luckey and Daisy get along well, but not as well as Luckey and Roxy– Roxy was always chasing Luckey, while Daisy prefers humans.
I love Daisy already and she will be a great dog… pictures are to follow when I get my camera back.

yesterday i did get another one… this time a mutt… she is to be said to have some qualities of a border collie, sheltie, and spaniel… she is adorable… she was from planned pethood. well i can’t type more because she is sitting on my lap!

Today was the early day… 7:30 for an oncology case studies and discussion. But the good thing is that we are finished by 4! I had a strange dream… working in a hospital is affecting me… I had a situation where my stomach was removed and then I had to go back to work the next day… I never would have these strange dreams if I were not working in a hospital.
My internet started working today on my cell phone and I did not have to do anything. I guess sprint was updating their network… and suddenly at 7am it updated.
Yesterday was a long day because once I left flower I went to rite aid for a few hours. There they gave me cycle counts to do…. I really did not want to do them because I did paperwork all day but I did.
Not much else is new…. Madhujit and I will be attending Mama Mia Saturday night because my mom will be out of town. And I am going to work on Sunday.
well off to track down more patient charts!

Madhujit and I watched a movie last night, My Boss’s Daughter. It had some interesting seconds, but mainly it was a “guy” movie, which is ok, because Madhujit has graciously watched “chick flicks” with me. I did get Under the Tuscan Sun, which I am looking forward to watching… which to Madhujit will be as bad as watching Pride & Prejudice. This is a great movie made my A&E based on Jane Austen’s novel– Madhujit felt it was pure torture…
Today at Flower I came in to find that the printer that we run our reports from was jammed. I un-jammed it finally, after about 5 different attempts, with lots of ink all over my hands and even some on my face. That is the most exciting thing that happened today…. I already finished my work for today, besides for the fact that a few patient charts are missing. Everyone told me that my greatest fustration will be the fact that I will never find charts in hospitals, and to me it is not a fustration, but an extension to my day…lolol…
I am going to Rite Aid today to work for a few hours…not an exciting prospect, but it is money, unlike my rotations.
Last night I fell asleep by 9:30 so I did not get a chance to work on my UTI presentation, so I should finish it up now.

well… today there was a presentation about inflammation of the sinuses. It actually quite interesting… The one thing that the speaker stressed was to use nasal sprays to help the drainage.
Not much happened between yesterday and today. I am working on a presentation about UTI ( urinary tract infections) that I am presenting Friday, but I do have most of that completed.
I am still working on my bedroom, because I filled out the application this morning for the puppy but I cannot approach my busia until it is clean.
It is almost lunch time, but today I am going to be antisocial and run some errands.
Justin wants to buy his new laptop today and he wants Madhujit & I to go with him, which is okay with us.

Well, I am at Flower, I already finished my “duties” for the day…. so I am going to work on my UTI presentation, but first I am going to post… what’s new… well this was a decent weekend. Katie spent the night on friday and I dropped her off at her basketball game on saturday. Saturday night, Madhujit cooked– he made some awesome beef curry. Sunday was the superbowl… we had a few people over and some good food… I did not watch the game, but i did get in a good game of euchre. My aunt & I lost… and I have no idea how that happened because busia was “feeling good from the alcohol” and haad no clue what she was doing. It was a close game though, we were tied at the end.
Afterwards, Madhujit left and the game was still going on, but I wanted to get some work done, especially cleaning my bedroom. I am going to try to get my busia to agree to another dog, this time a mutt I think, a poodle and terrier mix… it is adorable, and we will have to see what will happen. At this time, they are only 6 weeks old, but they are in indiana…
Well I am going to get to work now…. only a few more hours left to go
