Trailing Thoughts

This has been an extremely busy week for me ( and the week before that)… Katie has her paper done, thanks to Jennifer staying up in the wee hours of the night, I have 1 paper complete, just 5 more papers, 2 projects, 1 extra credit assignment to go. I am hoping that my wednesday will be a productive writing day– I am also cooking for thanksgiving, so I have to work on that. Then it is on to shopping on friday. I love shopping, especially the crazy crowds associated with the day after thanksgiving… ever stand out in a huge line at 4:30 in the morning, waiting to get into a store… I have and it is crazy and cold and everyone is tired, but a strange thrill also goes along with it….
Unfortunately class time…

I am getting more creative with my titles;) I am taking a break from homework– I am at school, sitting in a lab in the basement, so I am not really sure if it is dusk now, but it is pretty close. I have had a busy weekend. I read the paper today (a tradition that I really enjoy) and then I went to Office Max to buy some dvd media. Well– Office Max opened at 11, I was there at 11:05am and they were already cleaned out. They also had free cd-rs ( with a mail in rebate, so I picked up a few of those. ) I fought the dust bunnies at Rite Aid. Tomorrow, there is a “white glove inspection” so I spent a few hours cleaning. What can I say, that is expensive labor. Then I went to return some stuff and came to school. Been here since. I am really tired. I have a meeting at 7pm here, so I am stuck here until then. I have many papers to complete within the next few weeks. My busia’s birthday is coming up this Thursday– I found her present. At first, she would not tell me what to get her, but just the other day, so said she would like a flannel night gown with blue flowers. This is a hard request to cover– at first, Dillards was the only place I could find anything. I visited Penneys, Marshall Fields, Dillards, and Kohls and Elder Beerman, and finally I hit the jackpot at Sears. (I bought one from Dillards, but it was $60– which is quite expensive for something that you are going to sleep in!!) Well, I am getting back to work now.
Hopefully our meeting will be over quickly, because I have lots of work to do and I want to see madhujit today.

Well, I have a test today in Global Management and I am taking a break from studying. Today in accounting I actually had my homework done and she did not ask for volunteers. This is quite annoying because I took about 45 minutes from studying last night to do it ( she was threatening monday about pop quizzes and making people go up and try to answer). Toledo has been getting very strange weather… it is very cloudy and yucky outside, but it is not cold, the same yesterday… Yesterday I went out with a friend from highschool. Felicity & I have known each other for 10 years now. Looking back, 10 years ago, I started highschool. How freaky, I am getting old Anyways, we went out for dinner at our usual… we have not changed in all this time– in addition, I always get the same thing… I guess I am a creature of habit. Well, out of the blue she sent a forwarded email ( I normally just delete them) and I actually responded, just because it is Felicity. She won a trip to Texas through 92.5 this past summer. She is the first person that I know that actually won something from the radio. Well, break time is over, I need to go and study somemore

Madhujit already came over for hamburgers and bratwursts and went home to do homework and that is what I am attempting to do now, but I am taking a little break. We did not end up going dancing ( I am not really suprised, madhujit really does not like it) but we did watch Finding Nemo yesterday. Finding Nemo is a amusing tale. I really think the sharks were cool with their “recovering from eating other fish” group. I went shopping briefly today and picked up some decent pants and shirts for $1.77. I am really bad when it comes to sales like these– you think to yourself– it is less than 2 bucks… geeze. Jessy spent the entire weekend at our house ( she did not want to go home because Katie had some friends over. Well… I guess I should focus some more on homework.

Madhujit just said I have to get better headings– he claims it is like Doogie Howser MD. I think that is cool, because it was a favorite from my childhood. Today was an interesting day at Rite Aid. It appeared that if you were going to get a prescription filled, you have to get at least 5. Seriously, people would bring in books of prescriptions, 15 to 20 prescriptions– how does one take them and keep everything straight. Most of them would not even fit in a pill holder. I found out that I missed the Levitra drug rep by 1 day– they were in yesterday. I will try to get in contact with them monday to see what I can get. I am hungry now and here is the most crucial decision in Madhujit’s and my day– what are we going to eat??

Well, we had a team meeting today for our marketing project. We are going to promote Levitra. It will be an interesting piece of work when it is done. I am hoping to get a commercial in, but I am not sure whether or not it will be. The meeting is over and I am waiting for the dreaded e-commerce class! Oh well… Madhujit shocked me yesterday… I was not sure he had a fever. He said we could go out dancing on Friday night. Really. I am serious. This is a huge deal because dancing and Madhujit is like asking him to do something he really dislikes.
Anyways, I am going to start some homework now.
