Well, I got back from my trip to California… I really love the midwest. It felt good to come home ( and it was a relatively SHORT trip). I had a lot of fun. I went to Universal Studios Hollywood. They have an awesome “4-D” Shrek continued movie and as always, the back to the future ride. When I was there, I was asked to taste test yogurt for 3 dollars. We also visited 2 museums– the Getty Center and LACMA. Personally, I think that the Getty was nicer. Great architecture and spectacular gardens!!! The LACMA did not allow me to take pictures while the Getty did. I just wanted 1 picture at LACMA ( of a camel, to add to my camel collection!) but the security guards would not allow it
We did have a wonderful dinner at the LACMA though, and listened to a Chicago economist talk about cheating teachers with achievement tests. I found him quite fasinating, while my mother could barely stay awake. We also saw Intolerable Cruelty. What a bad movie. It ranks down there with Bringing out the dead with Nicholas Cage in the worst movies ever made category. We also went to Sea World and that was an enjoyable experience. This year it was not decorated for Halloween yet, but it is still pretty. My mom, Rich and Mario enjoyed Beer School and my favorite was the back stable tour of the Clydesdale horses. We met Barley, the dalmatian stable security dog for the evenings. But my favorite part of the trip was coming home.
Soon, you should be able to see the pictures of my trip by following the link at the side to the Pictures. Well I have to go to work now, so I am signing off.
