It has been awhile
Well… first, let me apologize for the heading… I wanted to fix it and now it is HUGE! but it looks better ( the picture that is. I have been very busy with school and working and I am just so tired all the time.
I finally ( after working very long and hard) I updated Dr. Bhatt’s webpage ( click here. It is not the best work of art, but it is decent for the first website I actually wrote in a long time ( I think 1999 was the last time I got a chance to venture into web design)
<-- I really think this is a cute smiley. This is going to be a particularly busy weekend, I am working and I have a test in accounting on monday. It should not be too bad because we get a "cheat sheet" that we can write whatever we want on it!
Madhujit’s parents finally got a chance to see me yesterday in about a month. I have been unavailable during the times that he normally converses with his parents. But yesterday, I had a test in my global management class (essays) and finished in time.
Hopefully Madhujit plans on cooking today. I am quite hungry and look forward to indian food ( HINT HINT). We have had mexican everyday since sunday!
I want to get everything done this week, so next weekend I can have fun. Jim, a friend of the family is coming to stay with us for his highschool reunion… at Woodward. My father went to school with him. My mom is going to go. And then the day after Jim leaves, I will be leaving with my mother to go to California. I am looking forward to it. We will be staying at Shutters on the Beach and it is always a nice trip.
Since I missed the renaissance festival this year, I want Madhujit and I to attend a halloween party. We most likely will end up at the Zoo’s this year. My grandmother, mom and I are going again as “3 generations of gypsies”
I bought Sixteen Candles the other day and made Madhujit watch it. I told him it is part of my childhood and a classic. He liked it a lot more than Sleeping Beauty ( which he fell asleep during
) I also ran across another one of those childhood things… Garbage Pail Kids… they are quite disgusting, but cool because I am reminded of other times.

A Wednesday Afternoon
Well…I guess I will not play with color today. what’s new… not much, my life is still just school, work and homework. I am making progress with Dr. Bhatt’s webpage. I am disliking all these classes until 10pm. It is not too much fun. I am tired and grumpy, so I hope Madhujit is up to going to the Michigan Renaissance Festival this weekend. (Here is the link)I have lots of work to do, so I am going to say goodbye ….

Saturday Evening
I watched a disturbing documentary in a class. It was about the middle classes of Japan, Germany and the US and how education was approached. The US started out differently with focusing on competitiveness, while the Japanese and German way is to build teamwork. As the children turn to young adults, Japan and Germany focus on educating all of the highschool students, even the non-college bound, with some sort of career in mind. This is drastically different in the US. As highschoolers prepare to leave school, the ones not pushed toward a career are floundering. This problem lies with the lack of educational support. The crowds are overwhelming for the teachers to handle. Well that is it for my commentary.

Wednesday Afternoon
I went to the airshow this past weekend with Madhujit. He had a lot of fun. I burnt 1/4th of my nose and the sides of my face by my glasses. I have no idea how that happened. (Obviously I did not do a decent job with the sun screen). We also celebrated my mother’s birthday on Monday. I am going to play around with color. That’s all.
